For its project “Sustainable and Affordable Graphene-Infused Concrete for Decarbonizing Construction,” GORD and its collaborators Shell have been awarded funding under the National Research Program – Climate Change and Environment Call (CCEC02-0311-250165). The Second Cycle of the Climate Change and Environment Call was organized by Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council (QRDI Council) in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
The official awarding ceremony took place as part of Qatar Sustainability Week activities, where Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD, received the Certificate of Recognition from Engineer Omar Al-Ansari, Secretary General of QRDI Council.
